Why Support Aspiring Counselors ?

Counselors face several challenges, including limited scholarships, clinical placement, licensure exam preparation, and the need for ongoing education to stay updated with the latest practices in the field, which can be time-consuming and costly.

Psyvo’s core purpose is to empower aspiring counselors by providing essential resources and scholarships that fuel their professional journeys. We aim to strengthen the mental health landscape by investing in the mental wellness of our communities.

As a Founding Associate, you will be one of the initial individuals who helps shape the foundation of Psyvo. You’ll play a crucial role in defining our strategic direction, developing key initiatives, building our community, and enriching our organizational culture. The founding associate is an individual who can not only contribute financially but, more importantly, provide strategic guidance and actively participate in building the organization’s foundation.

Your contributions will be instrumental in

  • Defining our strategic direction: Helping us chart the course for how Psyvo can best serve the counseling community.
  • Developing key initiatives: Contributing to the creation of scholarship opportunities and other essential resources.
  • Building a vibrant community: Connecting with like-minded individuals committed to empowering counselors.
  • Establishing our organizational culture: Helping us foster a collaborative and mission-driven environment.

As a Founding Associate, you will receive:

  • The unique opportunity to shape the foundation of an organization with a powerful purpose.
  • The chance to leave a lasting impact on the lives of counselors and the communities they serve.
  • A Psyvo recognition award acknowledging your pivotal role.
  • The immense satisfaction of contributing to an organization that aligns with your passion for the counseling profession.
  • The opportunity to connect and collaborate with other dedicated individuals.

We understand that your time and expertise are valuable. The specific time commitment will evolve as Psyvo grows, but initially, we anticipate a need for your active participation in fundraising initiatives, scholarship development, and community building.

We welcome individuals with diverse backgrounds and expertise who are passionate about supporting aspiring counselors. This could include current or retired counselors, educators, business owners, and individuals with experience in non-profit development, community building, fundraising, or anyone who believes in Psyvo’s mission and has valuable insights to offer.

We envision a collaborative and open environment where Founding Associates will have opportunities to share their ideas, participate in discussions, and contribute to decision-making processes.

Psyvo will measure its impact through various metrics, including the number of scholarships awarded, the resources provided to aspiring counselors, the growth and engagement of our community, and ultimately, the positive influence we have on the mental health landscape.
